Small detached domestic property in a beautiful local setting.
This building contained asbestos in several rooms and because it was constructed around 1985 we expected amphibole ACM (Asbestos Containing Material).
This was encountered in some unsealed insulation board that contained amosite (brown asbestos).
Another find was the bituminous drain pipes which were reinforced with chrysotile fibre (white asbestos).
Our surveyors have inspected a huge number of buildings and, as a consequence, have developed a sound knowledge of where asbestos has been used.
