Well it’s not under this modern floor covering or the cork tiles, or even in the PVC/vinyl floor tiles under that - but the glue on which they are bedded tested ACM chrysotile. Some surveyors do not even lift carpets!
There are many trade names associated with these reinforced plasters or paints. ARTEX (Asbestos Reinforced TEXtured Coating!) is but one. They include small amounts of chrysotile fibre (white asbestos).

There could be amosite (brown asbestos) fibres lurking in between the concrete I beams here. The result of sprayed asbestos and poor removal at a university site in the late 1980s. Sampling enclosures were necessary for his work.
Note shadow vacuuming (just in case!), polythene sheet, masks and Tyveks. Adequate PPE for the task.
